Encounter God Services
Friday nights offer a fresh way of encountering God. The night begins with worship and ends with personal prophetic ministry. What happens in-between is up to Holy Spirit, which means we never know what’s going to happen.
The service draws all ages to engage with one another and get excited about encountering God corporately and personally. Friday nights have been an adventure and we are seeing amazing things take place.
Because each Encounter Service brings a unique flavor, it leaves room to exercise the gifts of Holy Spirit and experience words of knowledge, healing, intercession and revelatory ministry.
The evenings conclude with our teams providing personal prophetic and healing ministry to anyone who desires. Attendees are invited to practice by joining one of our teams as they minister.
Friday night meetings are from 7 - 10PM:
The second and fourth Friday nights of the month at New Covenant Fellowship

About Ev:
Evelyn Alvarado recently moved to Chicago to intern with Kingdom Sending Center. Before venturing to the midwest, Evelyn was attending the School of Supernatural Ministry at Bethel in Redding, CA where she developed her spiritual giftings, especially in the prophetic. Thoughts on God, Painting and Art:
Can you describe the feeling you get when you're painting during worship at a KSC Friday night service?
During worship all I want to do is worship! I want to be in the presence of God. There is nothing more important that connecting with God and what He is doing. Painting during worship is just describing what I see God doing in a picture. All I want to do is portray God’s heart for his people through colors and images.
I don’t usually plan what I do, however, there have been very few time where I prepare something before I start painting. Usually it’s just me conversing with God, what He's showing me about His love and what he is doing in our hearts.
Can you describe your process?
I start by worshiping! Painting is secondary to being in the presence of God. As I connect, I usually see colors in my head or colors just stand out to me. Sometimes I get a vision or a picture of what to paint, but most of the time, the ideas come as I begin to color the canvas. The process honestly isn’t as important as the condition of your heart while you worship.
What motivates you to pursue your art medium?
It makes me happy! Expressing myself through colors and connecting with God through worship. The idea of co-creating with the most divine Being and having no limitations. The more I pursue this medium, the more creative I want to be and the more I want to be involved in other art forms.
