Bio

Ron and Valerie have been in ministry together for over 25 years.  They met and married while on staff at Campus Crusade for Christ in the early 1980s. 

In 1984, Ron responded to the call of God to move into the marketplace for further business, sales, and marketing training in Corporate America in preparation for a long-term call to effectiveness in full-time ministry.  Ron received his B.B.A in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 1980. After moving to the Chicago market, Valerie started a successful career in sales and human resources. Valerie received her B.A. in Accounting from Ohio State University in 1981.

While working in the marketplace, they learned and served at Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, IL for the next 18 years. The couple served in the small group ministry as overseers and coaches. Valerie joined the Willow Creek staff within the Small Group ministry as a Division Leader functioning as a regional Pastor for several years.  As a team, Ron and Valerie provided servant leadership to over 250 church members.

A new wave of personal hunger for more of God led to an expanded view of God, His Kingdom purposes and His activity on earth. They met Ben and Brenda Peters at a home meeting in the fall of 2004.  At the meeting the couple received their first personal prophetic words of encouragement.

In 2006, Ron and Valerie joined the leadership team of Kingdom Sending Center KSC—formerly Open Heart Ministries. In 2009, things began to transition in their lives.  In November 2009, Ron woke from a dream to hear God say "Today! You are now in full-time ministry."  Ron believes it is God's fulfillment of His promise in 1984, which took him from ministry to marketplace and back to ministry.  After 25 years in the marketplace, God was faithful to call him back to full-time ministry with his wife, Valerie.

For several years Holy Spirit has been restoring Ron and Valerie both personally and as a couple. At the same time, God has been using them to bring freedom and release to many through teaching and training. They are passionate to train faithful men and women who will teach others also according to 2 Timothy 2:2.

Today, they provide apostolic and prophetic leadership to of Kingdom Sending Center.  They are ordained ministers under the authority of Kingdom Sending Center. Ron and Valerie have two sons, Anthony and Robert, and one adopted daughter, Alexis. They have had abundant opportunities to be a spiritual father and mother to many over the past 25 years.
