About KHOP:

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their evil ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. — 2 Chronicles 7:14

The Need:

Our community, our nation and our world are in crisis. We seek the transformation that results from prayer. We will be a dynamic part of a global prayer movement, used by the Lord to release an outpouring of His Spirit that will touch the most destitute generation in history with unprecedented salvation, healing, deliverance and restoration (Joel 2:12-17, 28-29).

 

The Opportunity is to impact our world and advance the Kingdom of God through prayer and obedience.

We will pray for the release of the fullness of God’s power and purpose, as we actively win the lost, heal the sick, feed the poor, make disciples, and impact the seven spheres of society—family, education, government, economy, arts, media, and faith. Our vision is to work in relationship with the Body of Christ to serve the Great Commission, as we seek to walk out the two great commandments; to love God and to love people.

As a result, those who were formerly His enemies, the ones lost and broken and bound, will begin to declare the excellencies of Him who called them out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9).

 

The Goal is to develop an intimate and effective worship and prayer-based sending center that reaches beyond our four walls, into our community and the earth.

Our goal is to facilitate the ongoing development of a surrendered generation that seeks to honor God, desires unity and values a lifestyle of prayer and worship. We want to model this at KHOP and create a place where believers of all generations, cultures and backgrounds can come together and learn how to become “houses of prayer” in their own lives. Some of the strategies to accomplish this will be:

• Diverse worship teams and prayer sets
• Training in the arts: music, dance, communications, and media
• Justice initiatives, prayer and action
• Healing and ministry rooms with opportunities to minister
• Community outreach and regional unity
• After school programs for youth and children

 

The Strategy is to build a House of Prayer in our community that reaches out to all members of society.

We seek to call forth, train, and mobilize people to live a life of prayer as they preach the gospel, heal the sick, help the needy, make disciples, and bring transformation and justice to society. We make it our aim to live as fully devoted disciples of Jesus and raise up a generation of worshipers fluent in the arts.

Our Values: We will prioritize intimacy with Jesus Christ, this is the core of who we are and what we do.

As a result, we will focus on these four values:

1. Enjoyable Prayer through combined worship and intercession; engaging with The Word as a singing seminary.

2. Unity through praying scripture; establishing unity within the Body of Christ, the prayer movement and like-minded individuals and organizations.

3. Raising up a generation of worshipers in the arts, honoring family values and relationships, training in the arts and the fullness of discipleship.

4. Justice initiatives: taking Biblical action, living in and establishing freedom.
